Company History
Sunquest was founded in 1979. As a private company until 1996 and later as a public company, it led the industry in hospital laboratory and radiology information systems. The company was acquired in 2001 by UK-based public company Misys, and became the Hospital Systems Division of Misys Healthcare Systems. The company’s solutions continued to be the vendor of choice in over 1000 facilities in the US, UK, Canada and the Middle East.

In October 2007, the Division was acquired by Vista Equity Partners, of San Francisco, CA, a private firm dedicated to building long-term value through direct equity investments and has over $2 billion of committed capital under management. Vista is a value-added investor, contributing professional expertise and multi-level support, enabling companies such as Sunquest Information Systems to realize their full potential.
Sunquest Information Systems (India) Private Limited , is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sunquest Information Systems Inc., USA. Sunquest India is housed in a 25,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility at Eagle Ridge, Embassy Golf LInks. Sunquest India has a dedicated team focusing on R&D and Client services activities for the parent company. |
