THE INSTITUTE

Kali Charan Nigam Institute of Technology (KCNIT) was established in 2002 under the aegis of Banda Education Centre in Banda, the headquarters of “Chitrakoot Dham Mandal”, Uttar Pradesh. The Institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India as well as Uttar Pradesh State Government. It is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University , Lucknow.

With emphasis on providing excellent technical education in an atmosphere conducive to higher studies, the Institute aims at achieving a balanced development of students covering technical skill as well as over all personality. In- campus activities such as seminars, conferences, group discussions, lectures by guest speakers, yoga, gymnastics, indoor/outdoor games and cultural events contribute towards attaining such goal. Arrangements are also being made for faculty members and senior students to go for training programmes and custom-built workshops in internationally renowned technical institutions such as Indian Institutes of Technology, National Institutes of Technology and National Laboratories with a view to provide them wider exposure and technical experience.

The newly constructed campus of the Institute is located at a distance of just three kilometres from Banda Railway Station/Banda Roadways Bus Stand. Banda is very well-connected with major cities of India by rail routes. Direct train services connect Banda with Delhi , Mumbai, Hawrah, Jhansi , Gwalior , Agra , Mathura , Kanpur , Lucknow , Allahabad , Jabalpur and Raipur . Besides, roadways buses also provide regular/ frequent services between Banda and Kanpur, Lucknow, Faizabad, Raibareily, Barabanki, Deorai, Ayodhya, Gorakhpur, Basti, Allahabad, Varanasi, Etawah, Shikohabad, Firozabad, Agra, Delhi, Jaipur, Ajmer, Jhansi, Chattarpur, Sagar, Satna, Khajuraho, Panna and other cites in Uttar Pradesh/Madhya Pradesh.

THE MANAGEMENT

The management team of the Institute is headed by the Chairman, who has been a Non Resident Indian for about twenty years during which he had worked in senior managerial positions in private sector. Back home, he is now fully devoted to the development of this Institute. Assisted by a team of educationists and skilled professionals, he is determined to achieve the sole objective of providing quality education to students and to prepare them well for the present day highly competitive market of educated professionals both in India and abroad.
