Delphi India was incorporated in April 1995 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Delphi. Here, in this vast nation - one of the world's largest democracies and home to one-sixth of the world's population – Delphi employees are exposed to a diverse culture and rich history as they help drive tomorrow's technology.

In India, Delphi Automotive Systems Private Limited has been operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of the parent company since 1995. Delphi has four QS 9000 certified manufacturing facilities in the country, located in Bangalore, Noida and Gurgaon. Delphi’s key customers in India include Maruti Udyog Limited, General Motors India, Daewoo Motors, Fiat, Hindustan Motors, Volvo and Telco. Recently,Delphi expanded its presence in the Aftermarket and Service market with the launch of shock absorbers, struts, and half shafts as the first products in the market.

Delphi facilities boast the conveniences and tools necessary to safely and efficiently produce the high-quality products that help make Delphi a world leader in mobile electronics and transportation components and systems technology. Delphi India facilities are steadily increasing product engineering capabilities to keep pace with the increasing prevalence of electronics in automobiles.

Delphi India is also linked into the global Delphi engineering network. Web-enabled design and development tools enable the company to keep projects moving forward around the Dock.

Technical Center India, Bangalore

Technical Center India of Delphi Automotive Systems Limited is located in the southern Indian city of Bangalore. The activities at the center are presently focused on embedded software development and engineering analysis. Technical Center India of Delphi Automotive Systems Limited is located at the International Technolozy Park, Bangalore. The center inaugurated in March 2000 to develop software for Delphi`s worldwide vehicle applications. The activities at the center are presently focused on engineering analysis and embedded software development for many of Delphi`s fastest growing lines such as diesel common rail engine management systems and advanced mobile multimedia systems.
