Aqua Designs offered in 2004 the concept of Membrane Bio Reactors technology for treating the Sewage Effluent of the first IT Park in India developed by Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO), and Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited (ELCOT) Aqua Designs successfully commissioned the plant and also operates and maintains the facility at the request of TIDEL for more than a year. Aqua Designs has now set a trend such that big IT Parks have started using MBR Technology. The latest in the list is CHENNAI TECH PARK, promoted by India Land & Properties Limited. Aqua Designs has offered Total water management solutions to global leaders in soft drinks i.e. COCA-COLA & PEPSI . Aqua Designs has provided the total waste water management to, two of the Coca-cola plants in Chennai and Mumbai, using the latest membrane technology and recycled water is being reused. Their satisfaction levels motivated them to give more projects in other parts of India. Automobile giants like Ford and Hyundai have started giving repeated orders in Water and Waste Water Treatment including Operation & Maintenance which proves the customer satisfaction level. Aqua Designs is handling the Total water and waste water management of Ford India using UF in conjunction with Reverse Osmosis and the same is being reused by them in their process. The whole plant is being operated and maintained by Aqua Designs for the last four years. Aqua Designs has installed Low cost Community desalination plants for the remote villages of Tsunami affected areas for the supply of drinking water. Aqua Designs supplied containerized Air-conditioned desalination plants to desert land of Middle East and costal land of Maldives. Aqua Designs commissioned India’s first sea water to mineral water plant and that package drinking water is being marketed in Chennai. Aqua Designs supplies chemicals to more than 55 distinguished clients like apart from exports to near by Countries. Another feather in Aqua Designs cap is the construction of its Corporate Office in Kolathur, Chennai. Covering an area of 30,000 sq. ft., the office is a visual treat providing all latest amenities and ambience to its staff. Spaced at two floors it also houses around 250 staff with 5 conference halls, hi-tech board room, State of art Laboratory & Design area with sophisticated equipments and conference cum dining hall with a seating capacity of more than a hundred people.
