The group is involved in Ship-Recycling and Iron and Steel Industry and is pioneer of Ship Breaking in India and has carried out this activity since 1982 at Alang and Mumbai. The group also imports M.S. Scrap, M.S.Plates, H.R. Coils etc. for sale in the domestic market. The organization started out as a small trading unit and has expanded manifold and has established itself as one of India's prominent corporate houses. The group is constantly expanding and continuusly integrating its resources to provide improved and innovative business solutions.
Considering our experience in steel industry and the demand for Steel products worldwide, Arya Iron & Steel Company Private Limited (AISCO) one of the group companies has decided to diversify into the Manufacturing industry.
AISCO has set up a 1.2 MTPA merchant pelletisation plant in Orissa state, one of the most iron enriched regions of the world. This plant is the largest and first of its kind (Grate Kiln Technology) in Orissa. The plant uses Haematite ore from the iron ore belt of Barbil, Dist Keonjhar. We plan to cater to both the domestic as well as the international markets. The current production of Pellets in India is approx. 15 million tons is mostly being used for captive consumption. We will be the 1st Merchant Plant which will be selling 100% of the product in the domestic and international markets.
